2.
past experiences, family, and looking forward
3.
Culture does exist between 20-30 year old students, but may be less obvious. Culture can reflect the way people do things or attitudes they have and frequently varies between different regions although this is not necessarily the case.
4.
Enjoing the moments of culture when the times is right.

work, money, procrastination

18.
Follow the trend
19.
To appreciate a culture is to understand their way of thinking, and to accept their values and believes, but not necessarily living by that culture. You need an open mind in order to fully accept and appreciate the way other cultures are.
20.
rarely concern, i think could be a sense of belonging
21.
i'm not quite sure

Do different culture have different thoughts about each other? why?

1.
Persons of different cultures have their own different perspectives and way of living, so it is logical that they would have different impressions of other cultures.
2.
yes,
every kind of minds are out there, don't expect everyone to agree
3.
Yes. They don't necessarily share the same values and beliefs, due to their different upbringings. Tradition is often reflected through culture and tradition to individuals very much relies on their environment in which they were brought up in.
4.
Some culture do have different thought. mainly because of the life style of the enviroment.
5.
Yes. Due to the differences in upbringing, religion, area, social/ethnic class will develop a different personality and exposure to different cultures and naturally, different thoughts will arise.
6.
Yes, because each culture has their unique type of thing.
7.

13.
yes, mode of thinking difference, overall thinking with individual thinking
14.
Yes, becasue of the different background, customs and religious ..etc, different culture definitely have different way of thinking.
15.
They may do, but that is the same with everything. suchas races may beleive different things, religions maysee each other differently, etc.
16.

17.

20.
different countries and different peoples have different manners
21.
yes, because of different background

Does a 20-30 years old student thought about changing their appreciate culture when they are growing up? why?

1.
One's personal set of values will surely change over time, as they face different responsibilities - which will lead to their appreciation of different events, people and values.
2.
nope in my case
3.
To a certain extent. It depends what other kinds of culture that they have been exposed to for them to realise that their way of doing things is very different. It may be "culture shock" but 20-30 year olds may consider changing their culture by picking up values they like from different ones and making their own unique one which reflects their identity.
4.
May be when they are getting more mutured in life and the relise appriation to nature.
5.
Yes. This age gap is subject to a lot of exposure and inevitably, the students in this age gap will try to change themselves to fit in with their fellow class mates, friends, family and/or work mates.
6.
Yes, because you start to learn more and think more about different cultures as your knowledge increases. Maturity is also another point.
7.
may be...cause some people might think other's culture is more interesting than theirs
8.
Yes as people mature they find that the culture they appreciate is only for certain aspects but not the collective picture ie food, film etc.
9.
Yes, as you get older and gaining more experiences from the past, you will change the way you view the world, things, and people surround you.
10.
.....................
11.
maybe, but especially for those who went to another culture.
12.
I think that as people travel so much nowadays and as they oftgen study in different places they will perhaps appreciate the strengths and weaknesses of other cultures.
13.
Because Students are recipients of culture, Inheritors, and the creator of culture, Heart of beauty in everyone, Beautiful music is Sensory stimulation for students, To the spirit of pleasure and fun, Cultivate character, Sublimation of personality, They feel they are closely linked with the world, The value of life, enjoy self-fulfilment, Aesthetic from the type of music can be divided into masculine and feminine ,Masculine nature of work will allow students to become shrong,The surging momentum of the music enables students to mind magnificent, strong and resolute, Enthusiastic and optimistic music for students to make progress in the character, Quiet soft music so that students feel stable and calm, Joy beautiful music for students to spirits, Tactful and delicate music to enable students to sympathetic and helpful, Sad music for students to pay more attention to rational, Comedy music students bravely optimistic character of perseverance,
14.
Yes, through connection with different people and more understanding on culture's differential, there would be changes in their appreicate culture
15.
yes, because they experience new things as they grow.
16.
??
17.
yes maybe depending on who they hang around with and where they go and are happiest. Might prefer that lifestyle and wish to change
18.
Yes, seek the culture that suits their beliefs
19.
(Hong I dont understand the question... call home and tell me what you're trying to say...)
20.
might be, things always change becoz of different factors, esp ppl thought
21.
as for me, i never think about changing my appreciate culture

If there is only one culture in the world what kind of feeling would you have?

1.
Dullness.
2.
bored
3.
There wouldn't be as much interest in the world or any excitement. Living in Australia would be the same as living in the UK or USA or Asia and there wouldn't be any uniqueness across regions.
4.
Peaceful
5.
This would be disastrous and everything will be uniform, monotomous
6.
Everyone would be very similar, and the world would be boring.
7.
sad....everyone's the same....
8.
The world will be a less interesting place none will be obsessing over Brazilian booty or hot Korean girls
9.
I would feel a bit narrow minded because you don't get to explore more culture....
10.
pretty sad.....
11.
harmony
12.
I am disappointed that we are heading that way. Often when I travel nowadays I feel that I am just seeing the same advertising, brands and beliefs that I thought I had left at home.
13.
Pure and perfect happiness,
14.
Would feel very strange
15.
it would be impossible, because people believe and enjoy different things.
16.
the culture will stuck
17.
very limited, wouldnt be as happy as everyone would be the same with no variation, would be boring!
18.
No freedom
19.
Very boring, no diversity.
20.
boring
21.
people maybe get along well easily, fewer culture conflcts

Refer the question 5. What kind of culture do you think is the best if there is only one culture in the world? Why?

1.
I don't believe that there should only be one set of shared values in the world, and as such, nothing would be "best" for the world.
2.
europe cause it has a great experience and through the time, a good way to learn.
3.
If there was one, I guess it would be one that accepts the values of others freely. But I don't think this is possible, because personalities alone clash and with religion and cultures, it is likely to clash more.
4.
looking at a water fall.
5.
Asian
6.
None.
7.
Japanese. Because they treat people really nicely.
even if they don't know each other they will treat them as family!
8.
Japanese... good girls, good food, good productions and good toys, good cars
9.
A kind of culture that accept all thinking, behavior (as long as is not a very bad behavior), beauty, and just be open-minded to what comes to you.
10.
Japan coz it's a redeveloped country and it's all fashionable and modern people will be attracted into it
11.
any kinds, as long as we can get use to it,
12.
I think we need to pick and choose from different cultures. Often religion is at the heart of culture and that is why religious and racial tolerance are such important qualities.
13.
No doubt, fear, depression, tension and cowardice, No longer feel any distance between the world cut off from each other
14.
Chinese culture because this is my culture and I am used to it
15.
A liberal culture.
16.
wt culture could i choose?
17.
traditional ones like the indian as there is lots to it food and festival wise and all familys are big and close with eachother which brings together a community
18.
There isn't a single culture that can be the best
19.
I do not believe in one culture, and I do not think one is better than another, they're just different...
20.
i will prefer janpan, they are much more polite
21.
American culture. because i like the way they educate their children!

How do you feel when you were told to change your current culture to another culture?

1.
One's personal values draw directly from their way of living life. To force another to draw upon a particular set of values is akin to taking away their freedom.
2.
curious
3.
If I were told to change my culture, I'd feel weird about it. You can't just change culture. Culture is a part of your identity, and upbringing and it is hard to just change it overnight. Culture in a way is a comfort zone in which you are able to freely express yourself.
4.
well it would be a new advenyure in life.
5.
Uncomfortable
6.
Difficult
7.
depends on what kind of culture is it
I would accept the fact if I have to change
8.
Accept something different... it'll save u a few grey hairs
9.
I told myself that I have to embrace everything, treat it as an on-going process of learning in my life.
10.
Not too good, coz i don''t wanna change to a different culture and i was born there.
11.
i'll try,
12.
I would resent being forced but there are many aspects of other cultures that I envy and admire.
13.
Excited, energized
14.
Cannot accept
15.
i felt that it was wrong to attempt to change the way some lives.
16.
sorry i used to my own culture
17.
odd as its different
18.
Conflict of own beliefs and others' values
19.
It takes time to adapt, and it's not always possible because some values that is built into you is part of who you are and it is not easy, if at all possible, to change.
20.
hard to say, depend on which culture
21.
i will find it hard and unwilling to do so...

Why do we have culture in this world?

1.
Because we are human!
2.
because we all need to explain why we are..... what we are.
3.
I think culture is manufactured rather than really "taught". The practices of individuals who share the same values and attitudes happen to become a culture, because a mass number of people do similar kind of things. It's not really something chosen, but rather something adopted naturally.
4.
Nature created it.
5.
Culture is in place do show the distinctiveness between groups. It is due to these differences that people may learn to co-operate, accept, tolerate and live.
6.
Because it is culture that brings us up.
7.
Because of different living and different thoughts between people.
8.
To keep us wondering and fascinated about the world
9.
World means the earth, together with all of its countries, peoples, and natural features. With out building up different kinds of culture, we wouldn't form a world.
10.
coz God made us different
11.
its like a regular which developed for thousand years. there are human, there is culture
12.
Because people have produced a way of living that is appropriate for the world around them.
13.
A long history of human, In the human transformation of nature, To conquer nature and transform the process of self-created , To Creating culture
14.
Because of human does live in groups and develop behaviour pattern
15.
Unsure. :-S
16.
to maintain the knowledge from the past
17.
to have diversity and allow everyone to be equals and abide by certain rules and traditions
18.
To establish a structural society with people having common / similar beliefs that can lead to harmony or develpment
19.
People live in a way that best expresses their values and believes, these evolve into generally accepted behaviors, but these are different from region to region, giving rise to different cultures.
20.
coz we need to have an identity?
21.
i dont know ne~~~^^"
